My best collie Lad at just 3 years has already got 8 English points from competition; I just need another 5 to have a chance to compete to be in that team. My wife, Sophia has a similar country hobby which fits in well, which is to produce top quality 3 event horses. So that is it a very full life which we realise we are privileged to lead but have to defend .
I hold a regular national open sheep dog driving competition where the public are invited on the first Sunday in August every year. In 2005, for the first time, there will be a brace handling / driving competition. This means that each handler has two dogs at the same time. Normally the handlers will have different whistles or commands - one set per dog.
